cold days

It’s Friday????
Having everyone home for most of the week sure eliminates the sense of time.
And being locked in the house.
In extreme cold.
With a toddler who has a cold.
Who, clearly from my recent posts, gets into everything.
It’s so cold.
Sophie barely goes outside.  I’m sure it’s just to escape the toddler who has taken to force feeding her.   One piece of food at a time.  She will chase the dog down and shoves the food in her mouth.  No choice.
She also shares.  One bite for the dog one for baby.
Which means. Yes.  She tries to eat the dog food.
So the dog goes out side for snow water a lot because the dog water is up till the baby is off the floor.
Here’s some fun toddler stories.
During wrestling play, stay clear of fingers.   She will grab and squeeze.  And those baby nails slice.
While changing diaper go fast.  Those fingers find the poo and then they go while.  Poop smear on everything.
Sneezing and coughing while eating happens. Usually when baby has a full mouth of applesauce or yogurt.  Don’t wear nice clothes.
Hide everything of value. She’s dumped coffee, pop, dragged any jacket or shoe she can find, mittens, socks, laundry (folded, dirty or clean) if it’s at baby level she’s moving it somewhere.
Bath time. While your wrangling all the stuff she will throw anything in the tub she seems to be a toy.
While chasing her to get in the bath anything in her hand will go in the toilet.
While chasing her into the tub, she will probably pee seconds away from toilet.
She likes to help clean up her room.  Which means everything goes in her hamper.  I washed a disposable diaper yesterday.  And the toy almost got washed too.  Thank goodness it’s a nosy light up toy.
The sharing food also happens in the high chair.  One bite for baby one for dog.  Which means. Yeah.
So Jocelyn is thankful she gets to go to school today and not hang out with her sister all day long.
Mommy is thankful it’s quiet during nap time again.
Daddy is back to work.
And we can’t wait for the weekend to start.
Tomorrow........

Lol.
